The whole team at Little Doves have a very warm caring approach with the kids, it feels like a loving community, a very wholesome environment. "…My son has attended this pre-school since September 2023. The progress that my son had made since joining this setting has been significant- academically, socially, behaviourally, emotionally as well as spiritually. As a EYFS primary school teacher, I am aware of the importance that the Foundation Years have on the child's development. Little Doves has provided many opportunities for my son's interests to be nourished, his ideas to be explored and his individuality cherished. Little Doves is an inclusive environment where all children's needs are taken into consideration and prioritised. They take into consideration children's interests when planning their curriculum and the play taking place facilitates all of the 17 strands of learning (I have a very articulate and communicative child who regularly tells me about the exciting experiences provided for him). Little Doves provides opportunities for parents to be involved; through nativities, sports events, craft mornings and sunflower planting. My son’s key worker… is always available to discuss any concerns and the love and care given to my child whilst I am at work is very much appreciated. We are encouraged to share in our child's profile through home/school books and meetings to look at our child's progress files. I feel incredibly lucky that my son is part of a wonderfully caring and supportive learning environment. It is definitely a welcoming, warm and loving community and the ladies hard work is very much appreciated.”
